Green Imaginings: Art, Ecology and Europe’s Future

Green Imaginings is a creative gathering exploring connections between European environmental policy, creativity and citizen action. Guest speakers include Anne Murray, Biodiversity Officer and Ecologist, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, and Oisín Coghlan, EU Policy Advisor, Irish Environmental Network. Mary Moynihan shares a selectoi of artworks from her solo exhibition From the Forest to the Ocean and gives an artist talk on The Art of Nature. Participants are invited to share a gift for nature - a small object, photograph, drawing, poem or memory that celebrates the natural world – and to contribute ideas for new environmental laws to protect nature, contributing to a People’s Nature Charter for Ireland and Europe.
